 From Mozambique to Kosova
Lately Todd had to travel for work a lot and when his trip for US came up we decided that Adi and I will visit with my family in Kosovo.
It was a long trip, and it took us (read me) three days to recover. Three flights, long layovers in various airports, an energetic toddler and the never failing issues with my passport made the trip exhausting but well worth it. We have very few pictures to show our adventures (my fault). Todd is usually the one taking all the beautiful pictures of our adventures, so i always forget the camera and if i remember to bring it, i manage to forget to even take it out of my bag. Promise more pictures in the future.

Anyhow Adi is enjoying his time with my two brothers and their kids, he is being pampered and being taken care of by everyone else. I dont even get to see him much. Which is great for me. They feed and change him, take him to the park and playground. He ocassionaly comes home asking for me just to make sure he still has at least one parent. Its summer here and we are truly enjoying our time. We will post more pictures in the future. Our schedules are full, visiting with friends, extended family, and acquintances.

First Weekend Away

Well we finally took a full weekend off 4 hours up the coast in a very nice resort off the beaten path in Zongeone. We just loved it. Our own chalet, own beach, and own attention in the resort since it is low season and only 3 other couples were around. The drive off the main road lasted an hour through rural villages and opened up to a beautiful resort at the end of it. We had fresh fish meals in the lodge both nights with plenty of play time during cocktail hour.

We spent Sat. on our own beach which was only accessible by taking a small boat to the beach where we ran around, swam and played for the day. Adi loved the waves and collecting sea shells with mommy. It was nice family time before I have to return to the US for a 9 day business trip and Pranvera and Adi go home to Kosovo for 5 weeks. Will be tough to be apart but we are maximizing our time together.
