Pumpkin Time

What a wonderful way to celebrate Haloween. Starting by a day out at a pumpkin patch, to picking our own pumpkin and apples to carving Pranvera's first pumpkin ever. My sister was out visiting us so we connected with Sophia, Kate and Katya and spent the day at Homestead petting the animals, taking a hayride, enjoying the fresh air and being with family.

The season is not complete without carving up our Jack-o-Lantern and toasting the seeds.

Baby shower-celebrating arrival of the baby boy Kirkbride

Thanks to my sister and mother in law, I experienced my first American baby shower, and funny enough it was a baby shower for me. Stacey and mom worked very hard to put it all together and I appreciate everything they have done so much. Under their wonderful touch our apartment looked festive with all the decorations and baby signs, toys, wonderful presents and great food. I should not forget heavenly cupcakes.

It was a wonderful way for me to celebrate my pregnancy and the arrival of the baby in less then ten weeks. It was wonderful and so lovely to have family and friends with me that day. I particularly appreciated my friends and family who came from LA, St. Louis, New York to be with me on this special day. Thank you all so much. This is one of the memorable moments in my life.
