A Pampered Birthday Celebration

We apologize for the long overdue blog updates to all our friends and family. Due to the expensive and limited internet we know have in Mozambique we have not been as diligent as we would like. But since you only turn 21 once (or twice) we decided to share with your our indulgent weekend in Swaziland to celebrate Pranvera's birthday (and get our new visas). We stayed in a top level resort as you can see from the photos and had a wonderful day hike to the local waterfalls. We couldn't get enough of the fresh air, beautiful nature and great food we had every step of the way. We certainly hope to return to Sommerfield Resorts again someday soon but we'll just have to wait and see...

 Christmas in San Francisco/New Years in DC

 Thanks to Aunt Stacey for hosting my parents and us over Xmas. Including a holiday party for all our local friends, a train outing with dear friends from New York the Lewis's, shopping in Union Square, and of course a trolley ride. Was nice to be stateside and be overwhelmed by the American commercialism and lights and festive cheer.

 

New Years was out at the Eastern Shore and in DC with Andrew and Emily and Baby Anderson. Wonderful time connecting with close dear friends and ringing in a New Year in low key style.
